American Empire Wardrobe 1830's
American Empire Mahogany Wardrobe from 1820’s - 1830’s. A Rare and unique piece of history in this hand carved piece with Acanthus leaf design and Iconic Column details carved by master artisans, originating in the Eastern United States.
Originally donated to a convent in New Orleans, this one of a kind piece was purchased at auction in the late 70’s after being stored for over 50 years and kept by the family of an antique dealer. Acquired by MH Interiors in 2013, it was then fully restored by custom furniture maker in Nashville to it’s now excellent condition. Interior shelves are not original but custom made to match from a 100 year oak tree.
This rare wall unit piece stands 100” Tall x 101” wide x 24” Deep. All pieces are numbered and detailed and come with a video of assembly. Located in Nashville, Tn. Disassembled and ready to ship.
